Bootsy is your backbone in the band. Any cool bass player out there will give the glory to the guitar players, only right, but someone's gotta keep the rest of it together....!!! Bootsy was born in New York, New York, 1964, in the backseat of a cab. She hit the ground runnin' and didn't look back. By the age of 17 she could play the keyboards, the drums, the guitar, and of course...the bass. She played all the clubs in New York City with a lot of different groups, sittin' in wherever the band needed a musician because their's was strung out or too wasted to play. Bootsy's the kind of musician that gets high off the music....no need for drugs or alcohol. As soon as she hit the streets in Chicago she found Eric sittin' on the corner of Rush Street playin' some of the coolest riffs and bends she'd ever heard. Next thing ya know, they were jammin'....... Diezelfitter.
