"Boom Boom"

Meet our new drummer..... Boom Boom Dees... but we just call him Boom Boom cause he makes a LOUD noise on those drums...!!!!

“Boom Boom” was born in 1958 on the south side of Chicago in the backseat of a Grey Hound bus during a Cross-Fire Hurricane with a pair of drum sticks in his hands. “Boom Boom” met guitarist “Nick Thomas” in prison and together they formed a three piece prison band called “The Jail House Quartet” with a bass player named “Flea”. After being released for good behavior “Boom Boom” and “Nick” were released and the Judge said “Boy’s, just one more”. “Boom Boom” got married, went into seclusion and lived as a Hermit until he and Nick formed the “Fuzzy Navels” and toured America. Dirty street corners, back alleys, closed down night clubs and dilapidated arenas were their venues. “Boom Boom” worked hard perfecting a double back flip off of his drum set while it was on fire. Nick dropped out of sight. After recovering from six back surgeries, two knee replacements and 3rd degree burns, “Boom Boom” was fortunate enough to jam with some of the great artists of the world such as Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn, just to name a few, until his turn table broke. Devastation sent him back into seclusion. Once again, it was Nick who brought him out. Seems he’d run into guitarist, Eric Richards and bass babe, Bootsy Hambone in Chicago. The three needed to form the ultimate band and get out of Chicago…uh…hit the road quickly. All they were missing was a drummer (with a clean history). They all knew that “Boom Boom” was that drummer and the rest is “Diezelfitter” history!!!
